How's it going, everyone? My name is Irene and I'm a newbie to the forums. I've been a BFS sufferer for most of my life and while it's certainly irritating and distracting, it doesn't keep me from doing everything. I'm not here expecting some life altering cure or remedy, but I thought it would be interesting to see if I can meet others with this condition. The more people I meet, the less alone I feel. On top of everything else, I wouldn't mind being a little social for once. Well, that's about all I have to say. I look forward to diving into the conversation. Peace!!!

I just wanted to welcome you to the board Irene. I find it interesting that you have had BFS for most of your life. What has your experience been like?? When were you dxsd with BFS?? What symptoms have you experienced with it?? Sorry for all the questions, you are just the first lifer that I've seen come on the board, since I've been on any way, but I'm sure there have been others. Thanks for sharing, and happy you joined us.Take CareRobynn :D)

Welcome aboard Irene. Feel free to share your thoughts and experiences. I am sure a lot of us will relate and share our experiences (we try not to out do each other! ;) ). We are here to help and be helped- the nature of the board!cheersRodger

I too am newly diagnosed. I have been suffering stomach twitches for almost 15 years (perhaps even more to be honest I am not sure when it started). It is only isolated to my stomach 9not legs or calves or anything else). Sometimes I have pain but to be honest the worst part is me being uncomfortable with people noticing me twitching. I started taking a pill called Symax which helps suppress the twitches about 2 weeks ago with very good success so far. Wish me luck!
