Twitching All Over: Lip Stimulated?

I have moderate twitching all over but the one that is weird is my lip. I can feel it if I talk or chew sometimes, kinda like a certain movement stimulates it or something. anyone else have a twitch like this.

yep had that one. All twitches with come and go. Some will stay for a little while and some will stay for longer. And they will come to most places..if there is a nerve there, then they will visit.All part of the BFS rollercoastercheersRodgerPS in some cases movement may stimulate a twitch, in some cases rest may stimulate a twitch- Everyone is different.

Go back and read my post. I had a lip twitch on the upper left side of my lip for a day and a half straight. NON STOP. 28 hours. Its gone and it hasn't happened like that since.

I guess when your lips twitch your always worried one day you'll just hear blaahhhh and a slur, then your doomed to als. I do know a guy who got so stressed out in college his speech got messed up andhis jaw locked up. His back also shifted and he walked lopsided for about a week straight. He was my best friend and I feel bad laughing at the time. I was young and stupid. No disease ever killed him but an 18 wheeler did when he was mid 30's. I think about life and his situation and feel like a real wimp.

German, go read my post on experiences with New Neuro neuromuscular specialist. I too have been plagued with many facial twitches, eyes lips, chin jaw neck etc. Yesterday I went to this new guy and he did and emg and I had him stick a needle in my lip. It was totally normal and completeley ruled out bulbar which he said he did not need to do anyway because he would have recognized bulbar the minute I opened my mouth to speak. It does not start out with lip twitches. It starts out in your speech and you would lose your strenght to chew and eat. You are fine listen to the others on this post. I once had a lip twitch for two weeks and usually get them daily. Good luck.Mary

Same here. I get lip twitches all the tme. A friend of mine who used to post here had one for a month. It's nothing to worry about.

Had a lip twitch almost constant at night, when i was on my right side, for almost 2 months. Now, it just comes and goes like any other sporatic twitch.
