Strong Tongue Twitch: Fearful?

Hello,Did anyone of you every experienced a tongue twitch that is very strong, almost painful and always at the same spot?I am very afraid of it.

I've had very strong twitches on my tongue, but not really painful. More like electric chocks. How often do you have tongue twitches?

Hi Brummer,Yes - I did. Since April it comes and goes at some periods. It usually appears when i irritate my tongue. When i am stressed i am kind of playing/bending my tongue and i think this irritates it...Anyway. Its not painful. Its exactly on the same spot (mid-right side) and i would say it has a tingling feeling.Recently i got really scared because when i am extending my tongue i kind of "see" a line in this area which makes me scary that this is "atrophy" but i don't think so.I had EMGs on that spot last July so i think it is something benign. Hope that helps
