Stomach Fluttering Sensation: Help!

Does anyone else get a flutter/twitching feeling in their stomach area? I started getting this last night and it has continued today. To me it seems as if that area (bottom left) is less solid/bulky than the other side,in that if I try to poke my fingers into my stomach it seems to be much softer/easier to push in more flesh on the left hand side to the point where I can get my fingers under my rib cage. Also as a side point I have lost some more weight. I have now lost 14lb and have gone down from 147lbs to 133lbs.I was at the hopital today getting some physio for something else and my GP phoned my home. Apparently she has still not been able to get in touch with the neurologist despite leaving loads of messages with her secretary. What my GP has said however,is that if I don't here anything tommorow somtime,I should go down to see her and she will get me a bed in a hospital. To me this seems a bit drastic and not ideal as I am likely to be sent to a hospital which is notorious for bad care/mistakes (Contributed to my grandmothers death/bad care and we sued). Also I am likely to be seen by someone who has many patients on various wards and is either only going to be able to devote little time to me,be substandard in their assessment in order to get me in & out asap or a combination of the two. However given the fact that I need a diagnosis and I could possibly be waiting till December to see a neurologist,it may be best if I go even if its not ideal.

Oh yeah, stomach flutters are probably my most common symptom. It feels like there's an electrical motor plugged in somewhere around my small intestine. I just chalk mine up to some sort of off shoot of having IBS. I think it is all related.

I think there is hardly a place where a BFS sufferer does not twitch. Abdomen is a common site for me. Shoulders, back and arm twitches may be strong enough to wake me up (ie last night). Abdomen twitches hardly do that. But during the day is another business.

Its not really a twitch its this sort of fluttery/wobbly sensation along with the feeling sometime as if something is jabbing into that left hand side of my stomach. I tried to explain it to a doctor this morning and she could not understand what I meant either. She said is probably due to my bowels but It could be stress/hiatal hernia, despite the fact that i'm not overly stressed (less than I was anyway) and that she said a hiatal hernia would not cause such things, however I have found information contrary to that on various web pages. However this thing is quite frequent and may end up stressing me as it feels horrible. As I say I went to the docs todays as my GP said I should go down there as I would possibly be admitted to hospital. However for some reason she was not there so I had to see a different doctor. They had received a fax (possibly today) saying that the neurologist would try and see me in Novermber as apposed to December. It all depends on when she has a time slot/quiet period to be able to see me. Not as ideal as I would have liked seeing how they misplaced my original referal three times, but a bit better than going into a hopsital which is well known for its "Bleep" ups.
