Sensory Vibrations at Night?

This keeps happening to me and I was wondering if anyone else encounters it.I know a lot of you get night time "Jerks" and "Sleep Starts". But what about crazy sensory / vibration / abnormal sensations?I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and there's a period of extreme instability. Shakiness, almost tremor and vibration usually in my face. But this only happens when I am half awake. I have anything from my lips vibrating (visibly) to my tongue vibrating, to my cheek, etc. It always seems to be my face at night, and its the scariest sensation for me.Is night time a whole other world for you compared to daytime? Strangely, my spasms seem to stop at night. But other things start.I suppose there's some component of "less conscious control" over your body when you are sleeping. So a different set of symptoms may show up.Last night I was awoken by sleep paralysis episode. Something that I haven't had since I was a teenager. And back then it only happened when I was going on 8 days of no sleep. My mental and physical fatigue had to be at an all time low. Exhausted to the core. Then i could almost predict when it would happen. What this tells me is that on some level, my body is exhausted. More than it has been in so many years. Maybe on a cellular level. Once again that possible theme of energy deprivation on a micro level, bodywide. I keep waking up at 5am, or 5:30am ... after only 6 hours of sleep, and its starting to affect me adversely. Symptoms of course are worse during the day as a result. I cant go back to sleep because the spasms pick up literally within 45 seconds of coming awake. It is so strange because they are completely calm prior to that. Something kicks into gear. And ill say it - another thing that happens - i get gas. A lot of gas .... when i first wake up. Along with a feeling of anxiety. There's a period of about 20 seconds where I am coming awake. Feel fine. Then I start to feel somewhat anxious. I always have upon waking up. Then the calf muscle starts "marbling" around, and spasming a little. Then it picks up. And then the gas kicks in. Does anyone want to put themselves out there and admit this happens to them too? Ladies? LOL....

Every night for 13 months I have tremor in hands that starts at about 5 AM and happens when I am half conscious, when I am fully awake to stand up it stops. Sometimes I don't have tremor, just buzzing over the nerve from left to right hand via neck. Hard to explain, got me scared 13 months ago, now... I can not say I am used to it, it wakes me from my sleep but... If I wake up with numb or tingling in hands I know it is before 5 AM, if I tremor I know it is after 5 AM ;)When I go to bathroom at night I usually am very dizzy :-&

BFSB: I don't want to sound like I'm touting a supplement, but this really works for me. It's called Kavinase and it's a natural supplement that affects your GABA system and relaxes you (it has NO kava kava in it, despite its name). Just google it and see. I take it with or without a melatonin and I sleep pretty well overall. Melatonin alone doesn't work and makes me restless and dream a lot, but the combination of the two works great for me. It relaxes my body and it also relaxes any BFS symptoms I have. Since it's natural, I'm not too concerned about taking it (I take it almost every night) - but that doesn't mean it's safe...This has helped me the most (even more than Ambien and Xanax - which I still occasionally take for sleep).I really think it's a supplement that could help a lot of BFSers, overall.Mitra

PS: I wasn't trying to give you a sleep solution, but to me it seems like you need to get some good sleep to get over the symptoms you're experiencing at night. Nothing makes my BFS worse than too little sleep. And, this appears to reduce my BFS symptoms (similar to how Xanax does) and is not a benzo, so it's a pretty good OTC supplement that very few people seem to know about.
