I just need to vent, I feel like its progressing somehow as my chest, abdomen and hips are affected more than they ever were during last 4 years. Does anyone have them on daily basis? I get these like every 20 minutes..sometimes big thumper, sometimes few twitches...

Yes, Yes, and yes. Plus biceps, triceps, forearms, back, neck, thighs, butt, you name it. It doesn't matter where you twitch. The more widespread the better. Plus 4 years, you are absolutely fine.

Nope no EMG. I don't believe you need an EMG. Since that is what my neuro told me, and what most people will tell you. They are only for anxious people who don't believe their doctors. I believe him, and have been twitching for 1 year. You can check my recent post, 1 year....YAY. Shotgun widespread twitching is NOT how ALS starts. Never has been. Despite what the internet may tell you.

I get these all the time in my chest ribs abdomen and back and have hot spots in these places on and off as well. It is no different than any other place and I have had emgs which have detected the the fasiculations and nothing more. My neuromuscular specialist said this is quite normal for bfs and it does not matter where you get them none is more sinister than the other. And like Don said after four years you are fine. Have a nice weekend.Mary :D)

Oh yeah . . . me too . . . A fasciculation was never picked up on my 10 needle EMG. TwitchyMD you had an EMG recently, right? Did it pick up any fascicultions?
